The Fellows of the European Marketing Academy have elected one new Fellow this year: Professor Ming-Hui Huang. Her recognition honors Professor Huang’s significant research contributions and involvement in EMAC.
Professor Huang is Distinguished Professor at Department of Information Management, College of Management, National Taiwan University. She is also Distinguished Research Fellow of the Center for Excellence in Service, University of Maryland, USA, and International Research Fellow of the Centre for Corporate Reputation, University of Oxford, UK.
Professor Huang specializes in interdisciplinary research, with publications encompassing both academic and managerial journals in Marketing, Information Systems and Strategy, including IJRM, JM, MS, JAMS, HBR, MIT Sloan Management Review, California Management Review, JSR, Journal of Management Information Systems, and JCP. She has been special issue editor of JSR, is an Editor of the AI and Ethics special issue of Journal of Business Ethics, and Associate Editor of JSR, IJRM, Information & Management, and Communications of the Association for Information Systems. Her recent research on artificial intelligence in service has been awarded the Best Article Award from JSR, as well as the Best Service Article Award from AMA SERVSIG.
She serves on the AMA SERVSIG board, is Chair of the INFORMS Service Science Section, served as Vice President for Asia/Pacific of AIS (Association for Information Systems), program co-chair of the 2012 International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS 2012) and conference co-chair and host of the 2013 AMA/INFORMS Frontiers in Service Conference.
