After many years of outstanding leadership, Professor Jay Kandampully will be stepping down as Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Service Management (JOSM). Jay’s contributions to JOSM have been nothing short of transformative—his vision, dedication, and commitment to advancing service research have significantly elevated the journal’s impact and global reach. Under his leadership, JOSM has solidified its position as a leading platform for cutting-edge service scholarship, fostering meaningful academic conversations that shape the future of service management. We extend our deepest gratitude to Jay for his invaluable service and the lasting legacy he leaves behind.
As we look to the future, we are delighted to announce the appointment of Linda Alkire (Texas State University) and Sertan Kabadayi (Fordham University) as the new Co-Editors-in-Chief of JOSM. Both bring a wealth of expertise, scholarly excellence, and deep engagement within the service research community. Linda and Sertan are well known for their contributions to service research making them ideally suited to guide JOSM into its next phase of growth and innovation.
