We seek to appoint a Professor of Marketing committed to the success and development of the Newcastle University Business School as active and engaged citizens. Individuals with interest in the future of work and developing future leaders, who care about nurturing academic colleagues and students to reach their potential and who connect with organisations, are encouraged to apply.
The primary purpose of this post is to lead the development of research in the Marketing subject area. We are particularly interested in the following research areas: digital marketing, marketing in the creative and cultural industries, marketing/branding analytics, gendered practices in marketing, international marketing, services marketing, consumer psychology and marketing communications. The post holder will develop the activities of the marketing research groups and contribute to the KITE research centre
Applicants should hold a PhD in a relevant subject and have a record of excellence in research, engagement and impact (including PhD supervision and funding applications).
