Goal: The SERVSIG-Gabelli School of Business Travel Scholarship Program aims to provide financial support to a PhD student/junior faculty member from a developing country in Asia, Africa, or South America so he or she can attend the Frontiers in Service Conference, the premier global conference in the services field.

Amount: $2000 scholarship to be spent to attend the Frontiers conference to present a paper.

Eligibility: A PhD student or a junior faculty member who has completed his or her PhD in 2013 or later.

To apply: Once a candidate has his or her paper accepted to the Frontiers conference, he or she will need to submit the following to Sertan Kabadayi at the Gabelli School of Business via email at Kabadayi@Fordham.edu:

  • Most recent CV
  • A copy of the abstract accepted for the Frontiers conference
  • A brief statement of why he or she needs this scholarship (no more than 500 words)
