Roland Rust, Distinguished University Professor and David Bruce Smith Chair in Marketing at University of Maryland’s Smith School of Business, will receive an Honorary Doctorate from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) in Bergen, Norway. The ceremony will be held on June 9, 2017. The award – his second Honorary Doctorate — reflects Dr. Rust’s consistent and outstanding intellectual leadership in the marketing field throughout his career. He will join an esteemed group of past recipients of NHH Honorary Doctorates including Avinash Dixit, Bob Wilson, Karl Joreskog, Jacques Dreze, Finn Kydland (Nobel Laureate) and Oliver Williamson (Nobel Laureate).
