The conference has achieved its key objectives of providing a platform for participants from various fields and perspectives including academia, industry, NGOs, and other organizations to exchange and share the state-of-the-art research and practice on mobility, immigration, and refugee studies. As a part of the conference, a one-day workshop involving different stakeholders (e.g., refugee entrepreneurs, NGOs, and academicians) was organized. The participants discussed a wide range of issues including the challenges faced by refugee entrepreneurs, social and economic integration of refugees, and the role of the local community as well as the institutional environment in facilitating the integration of refugees and their family members
