EGADE business school invites you to have a unique academic experience in Mexico
- The area is service management research with a priority for three main areas:
– Service innovation, including new service development and service systems.
– Services in manufacturing companies, including business strategies and business models.
– Services at the base of the pyramid (BoP), including transformative service research. - The position is for two years. An assessment will be made after the first year; and based on performance as agreed on, the contract for the second year will follow.
- The position is focused on research although some teaching could be included based on particular needs.
- Two categories of Post Doc are welcome to apply.
The first category (A) is a fresh scholar who has just passed the requirements for a PhD of an English speaking program.
The second category (B) has the equivalent of one year ́s research experience and has at least two accepted publications in scientific journals, two or more journal paper manuscripts submitted or in a final phase, and experiences from presenting research at international research conferences, most preferably service-related. - At least three articles should have been either published or be under review in scholarly Q1 and Q2 after two years. Some conference papers and book chapters are also important but the focus should be on journal articles.
- Active participation in seminars is expected and in building a research group at EGADE Business School in the area of service management research.
- Active participation in international networks is also expected, presenting at international conferences and workshops and in applying for research funding.
- We offer a competitive monthly salary in USD, comparable with some of the best business schools in Europe.
- Social security and Medical care is covered by Monterrey Tech in addition the monthly salary.
- The position will have funding for travel, buying books etc. each year.
- The Post Doc position includes a working space, computer and all support services being available for lecturers and professors.
- Experiences from doing research in cooperation with companies or other external partners/organizations are a merit. Ongoing research with other scholars and experiences from leading research projects are also of great importance but not a requirement.
- The candidates should submit their CV with list of publications, and a plan (4-5 pages) for their research during the three year period including research topics to focus on and expected contributions and output. The document should also include present and planned cooperation with other scholars internationally, teaching experience and interests and suggestions regarding external research funding.
