The submission deadline is January\u00a015, 2016.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Service design and innovation have gained increased attention and have been identified as service research priorities by Ostrom et al. (2010). Service design is a\u00a0multidisciplinary research area that brings new service ideas to life through a human-centered and creative design thinking process. Service innovation involves the creation of\u00a0new or improved service offerings, service processes and service business models. \u00a0Service design and innovation play crucial roles in generating new forms of value cocreation\u00a0with customers, differentiating firms\u2019 offerings and fostering societal well-being. These topics are vibrant areas in need of further research and theory advancements.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.servsig.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Innovation-flickr-rights.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-medium wp-image-923 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/www.servsig.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Innovation-flickr-rights-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"Innovation-flickr-rights\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.servsig.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Innovation-flickr-rights-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.servsig.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Innovation-flickr-rights.jpg 350w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>We invite scholars from multiple disciplines to submit their high-level research in service design and innovation in the context of value cocreation.
