The conference is\u00a0co-organized by David Mick and Rick Netemeyer, who\u00a0are seeking co-chairs for individual tracks.<\/p>\n<p>2021 marks the 100th anniversary of the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia. In celebration of its founding and its long-standing commitment to economic and social well-being, the McIntire School is proud to share inspirations and affinities with the TCR movement and to host TCR\u2019s next conference.<\/p>\n<p>Two of the new developments for the 2021 TCR conference are: (1) an extra emphasis, where possible, on bright-side topics (see more below) and (2) moving from 1.5 days of dialogical track sessions to 2.5 days in order to facilitate more research progress and deeper collaborations among the participants (this means that, for the first time, the conference fee will cover 3 nights of accommodations for those who choose to stay in the university dorms during their participation).<\/p>\n<p>The track co-chairs will be responsible for:<br \/>\n(a) defining a specific theme or project that the track\u2019s group members will discuss at the conference,<br \/>\n(b) helping to select group members for the track,<br \/>\n(c) leading the tracking dialogue,<br \/>\n(d) and organizing and leading the pre- and post-conference activities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The details for submitting track proposals can be found at the <a href=\"https:\/\/tcr2021.mcintire.virginia.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/TCR-2021-Call-for-Track-Proposals-2.pdf\">conference website<\/a> (still under development).<\/p>\n<p>Questions may be sent to <em>TCR2021@virginia.edu<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Additional information on TCR and dialogical conferences can be found on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.acrwebsite.org\/web\/tcr\/transformative-consumer-research.aspx\">ACR website<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Transformative Consumer Research (TCR) conference 27-30 June 2021 McIntire School of Commerce, University of Virginia (Charlottesville, VA) [ONLINE] Deadline (track proposals): 31 May 2020 The 2021 TCR conference will again be based on a dialogical model of research collaboration.
