P. Carey School of Business\u00a0at\u00a0Arizona State University invites applications for an Associate or Full Professor, tenure-track position in marketing with the appointment beginning in August 2019. Preference will be given to candidates who have an established research program in service research.\u00a0The initial application deadline is\u00a0<strong>November 19, 2018<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><em>Essential Functions<\/em>: The candidate must conduct high quality research that is published in the Department\u2019s premier journals; effectively teach marketing courses at the undergraduate and\/or graduate level; serve as a research mentor to doctoral students; and interact effectively with colleagues to support and contribute to the mission of the Department in the areas of research, teaching, and service.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"row push-bottom ng-scope\">\n<div class=\"col-xs-12\">\n<h3 class=\"font-weight-bold\">Qualifications<\/h3>\n<div class=\"ng-isolate-scope\">\n<div class=\"sanitized ng-binding\">\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>An earned doctorate in Business\/Marketing or in a related field.<\/p>\n<p>Demonstrated ability to publish in premier Marketing journals.<\/p>\n<p>Interest in service research.<\/p>\n<p>Excellence in teaching marketing-related courses as demonstrated by such indicators as positive teaching evaluations.<\/p>\n<p>Participation in service roles related to research and\/or teaching.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Desired Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Associate Professor<\/em>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A strong research program consistent with rank as evidenced by high quality and quantity of articles published and forthcoming in premier marketing journals as well as pipeline.<\/li>\n<li>A research program, including published articles, that is focused on the investigation of service issues.<\/li>\n<li>Participation in the service research community as evidenced by such activities as presenting at key service conferences, reviewing for service journals, and involvement with SERVSIG.<\/li>\n<li>Teaching experience in undergraduate and graduate courses with evidence of teaching excellence.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to teach a service-focused doctoral seminar.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to mentor doctoral students.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to pursue external funding when available and appropriate for research program.<\/li>\n<li>Interest in and motivation to contribute to the mission of the Center for Services Leadership.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Full Professor<\/em>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A strong research program consistent with rank as evidenced by high quality and quantity of articles published and forthcoming in premier marketing journals as well as pipeline.<\/li>\n<li>A research program, including published articles, that is focused on the investigation of service issues.<\/li>\n<li>Participation in the service research community as evidenced by such activities as presenting at key service conferences, reviewing for service journals, and involvement with SERVSIG.<\/li>\n<li>International reputation as a service researcher.<\/li>\n<li>Sustained excellence in teaching undergraduate and graduate courses.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to teach a service-focused doctoral seminar.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to successfully mentor doctoral students.<\/li>\n<li>Experience serving in leadership roles at the department level, school level, and\/or in the marketing\/service discipline.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to pursue external funding when available and appropriate for research program.<\/li>\n<li>Interest in and motivation to contribute to the mission of the Center for Services Leadership.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"row push-bottom ng-scope\">\n<div class=\"col-xs-12\">\n<h3 class=\"font-weight-bold\">Application Instructions<\/h3>\n<div class=\"ng-isolate-scope\">\n<div class=\"sanitized ng-binding\">\n<p>The initial application deadline is\u00a0<strong>November 19, 2018<\/strong>.
