Service-Dominant Logic \u2013 Opportunities for the Future<\/strong><\/p>\n

October 17-18, 2018, Karlstad University, Sweden<\/p>\n

\"\"We would like to invite researchers and doctoral students to a research seminar on Service-dominant logic with Professor Stephen L. Vargo on October 17th, and following doctoral workshop on October 18th organized by CTF, Service Research Center at Karlstad University.<\/p>\n

The seminar will approach the new service research landscape and give you new insights into service-dominant logic related research and associated concepts. More specifically, the seminar content will highlight the basics of S-D logic, especially clarifying central concepts that are sometimes not accurately represented in the literature. Complimentary and competing research streams will be linked and differentiated and recent and future initiatives, as well as potential, related research opportunities will be explored.<\/p>\n

Program leaders are: Professor Stephen L. Vargo, University of Hawai\u2019i at Manoa, and CTF faculty members: Professor Bo Edvardsson, Professor Per Kristensson, and Dr Kaisa Koskela-Huotari.<\/p>\n

The doctoral workshop gives doctoral students a unique opportunity to present and discuss their on-going work with Professor Vargo and other faculty members at CTF. We encourage both doctoral students currently doing S-D logic related research and doctoral students interested in exploring how their research themes could be connected with S-D logic in the future, to apply for the workshop. Doctoral students desiring to participate in the workshop should submit an application by August 31. Submitters will be informed whether they have been accepted by September 14, 2018.<\/p>\n

The seminar and doctoral workshop are especially targeted towards scholars and doctoral students who want to learn more about service-dominant logic and connect their research to this continually evolving field. The seminar and doctoral workshop are free of charge but registration for the seminar, and application for the doctoral workshop is necessary.<\/p>\n
