The general theme of the special issue is to contribute to this growing line of research by inviting scholars to write conceptual papers empirical studies, or case studies\/best practices across all facets of service industries. This special issue seeks to publish research that builds on existing wellbeing\/QOL theory, research, and practice to help develop new ways of providing and improving services and service design.<\/p>\n<p>This special issue invites papers from a range of disciplines and fields of specialty research related (but not limited) to the following topics:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Links between wellbeing and services industries \u2013 opportunities and challenges<\/li>\n<li>Corporate social responsibility and customer wellbeing in service settings<\/li>\n<li>Corporate social responsibility and employee wellbeing in service settings<\/li>\n<li>Corporate social responsibility and community well-being in service settings<\/li>\n<li>Corporate social responsibility and environmental wellbeing in service settings<\/li>\n<li>The role of the service industries in facilitating value creation for consumer wellbeing<\/li>\n<li>Examining wellbeing and quality of life issues within different cultures and service industries.<\/li>\n<li>Establishing interrelationships among competitiveness, issues of sustainability, consumer, and societal well-being<\/li>\n<li>Impacts of service activities on consumers\u2019 subjective wellbeing<\/li>\n<li>Development of wellbeing and quality of life indicators for service industries<\/li>\n<li>Replication and validation of wellbeing indexes in service settings<\/li>\n<li>Case studies and best practices of wellbeing and quality of life measures in service settings<\/li>\n<li>Objective and subjective measures of wellbeing and quality of life in service industries<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Demographic and behavioral variations in wellbeing with respect to different aspects of service delivery platforms<\/p>\n<p><strong>Submission Instructions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Researchers are invited to indicate their interest in contributing to this special issue by sending a 300-word abstract of their proposed paper by\u00a0<strong>March 1<\/strong><strong><sup>st<\/sup><\/strong><strong>, 2018\u00a0<\/strong>to\u00a0one of the guest editors by email.<\/p>\n<p>The deadline for full paper submission is\u00a0<strong>August 31<\/strong><strong><sup>st<\/sup><\/strong><strong>, 2018<\/strong>\u00a0for standard peer review.<\/p>\n<p>Vist our\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/tandfonline.com\/action\/authorSubmission?journalCode=fsij20&amp;page=instructions?utm_source=CPB&amp;utm_medium=cms&amp;utm_campaign=JML03561\">&#8216;Instructions for Authors&#8217;<\/a>\u00a0page for full submission instructions.<\/p>\n<p>Publication for this special issue is January \u2013 February 2019.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Editorial information<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Guest Editor: Muzaffar Uysal,\u00a0<em>University of Massachusetts, USA<\/em>(<a href=\"mailto:muysal@isenberg.umass.edu\">muysal@isenberg.umass.edu<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>Guest Editor: M.
