The editorial board will be structured around four areas and four area editors, aligned with major themes of the journal and aimed at broadening connections with existing research communities. The areas are customer-centered service, service operations management, service research and practice, and healthcare applications. The journal\u2019s Editor-in-Chief, <strong>Paul Maglio<\/strong>, will serve as the area editor for service research and practice, and we previously announced <strong>Lisa Maillart<\/strong> as area editor for healthcare applications and <strong>Seyed Iravani<\/strong> as area editor for service operations management.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-4769\" src=\"http:\/\/www.servsig.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Sriram-Dasu-1-214x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"143\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.servsig.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Sriram-Dasu-1-214x300.jpg 214w, https:\/\/www.servsig.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Sriram-Dasu-1.jpg 250w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 143px) 100vw, 143px\" \/>Now, we are delighted to announce the area editor for Customer-Centered Service is <strong>Sriram Dasu<\/strong>, Associate Professor in the department of Data Sciences and Operations at the Marshall School of Business, University of Southern California. Dr. Dasu received his PhD from the Sloan School of Management, MIT. \u00a0His research interests are in the area of service operations, healthcare, and supply chain management. \u00a0He is particularly interested in the interface between psychology and design of service operations. \u00a0Dr. Dasu has served as Associate Editor for\u00a0<i>ManagementScience<\/i>,\u00a0<i>Naval Research Logistics<\/i>, and\u00a0<i>MSOM<\/i>, and he was also a Department Editor for\u00a0<i>MSOM<\/i>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>INFORMS\u00a0Service Science\u00a0is expanding and reorganizing its editorial structure.
