The editors have selected a number of articles published in the first two decades of the journal that have had a lasting impact on the services field, and invited the authors to reflect on their original piece. The results are a series of thirteen stunning retrospectives which provide food for thought as we move into the next era. To access these articles click\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.emeraldinsight.com\/loi\/jsm\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Outstanding Contribution Awards<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>As part of the 30<sup>th<\/sup> Anniversary celebrations this year, three papers were selected out of more than<strong> 1200 articles<\/strong> published in the <em>Journal of Services Marketing<\/em> as outstanding contribution. These awards represent papers that have attracted high citations and contain innovative theoretical ideas at the time of publication.
