The conference is sponsored annually by INFORMS, the American Marketing Association, and the Center for Excellence in Service at the University of Maryland, and is hosted by various organizations worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>The theme of the 2017 Frontiers in Service conference is \u201cWhat Service Leaders Do Differently.\u201d\u00a0 Attendees will get to learn from many of the world\u2019s leading service experts, including high-ranking executives and prominent academics.\u00a0 Plenary speakers for Frontiers 2017 include:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-3452 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.servsig.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/screen-capture-19-e1473708931392.jpg\" alt=\"screen-capture-19\" width=\"1081\" height=\"1219\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.servsig.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/screen-capture-19-e1473708931392.jpg 1081w, https:\/\/www.servsig.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/screen-capture-19-e1473708931392-266x300.jpg 266w, https:\/\/www.servsig.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/screen-capture-19-e1473708931392-768x866.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.servsig.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/screen-capture-19-e1473708931392-908x1024.jpg 908w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1081px) 100vw, 1081px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>There will also be numerous concurrent sessions where researchers and managers can present their research and best practices.\u00a0 If you are working on research or management practices that are in any way related to service management, <strong>we want to hear from you.<\/strong>\u00a0 <strong>You are cordially invited to submit abstract(s) or poster(s) proposal(s) for presentation at the conference.\u00a0 If you are working on any of the following topics, we would welcome receiving your submission<\/strong>: <em>customer experience management, customer value creation, service science, service innovation, service marketing, service operations, service design, employee engagement, organizational climate, service information technology, e-service, service innovation, transformative service, and customer relationship management<\/em>. <strong>And if by chance your work doesn\u2019t fit neatly into any of the above topics, but nonetheless focuses on providing value to customers and on enhancing customer relationships we welcome your submission.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Submissions must be received by November 18<sup>th<\/sup>, 2016, so don\u2019t delay.\u00a0 Please use the link below to submit your abstract or poster (Maximum 450 words):<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/frontiers2017.com\/abstracts.html\">https:\/\/frontiers2017.com\/abstracts.html<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Every manager and every service researcher needs to understand the rapidly changing needs of customers.
