It was an eventful two days that kept the 45 participants busy discussing how we should move the field forward and collaborate more. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-2627 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/www.servsig.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Karlstad-009_1-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"Karlstad-009_1\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.servsig.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Karlstad-009_1-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.servsig.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Karlstad-009_1.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>The first part of the meeting was spent at debating how we should help the service journals and how the journals could help us as researchers. Among the topics that were discussed was how the process of publishing could be made faster and how an author could help the editor in selecting the appropriate reviewer. This was followed by an open call where the researchers could tell the audience what is going on at respectively university and if there is something that they wanted needed help to accomplish. This section will be made available through CTF&#8217;s youtube channel.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-2628 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/www.servsig.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Karlstad-074_1-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"Karlstad-074_1\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.servsig.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Karlstad-074_1-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.servsig.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Karlstad-074_1.jpg 599w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>Next the event moved into work mode and focused on what all researchers really enjoy doing; discussing research! We had used participants from the network to\u00a0prepare\u00a0eight different research topics that is viewed as areas\u00a0in need of research. The areas are listed below. The participants selected one area that interested them, with the task to develop a manuscript targeted the <em><strong>Journal of Business Research<\/strong><\/em>. This will help researchers in the network to continue and on-going collaboration and get to know each other much better.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u00a0Y<\/span><span class=\"s1\">he 4th Industrial Revolution: Where Does the Employee Fit in the Service Experience?<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The Role of Providers in Communicating Service Brand in a Collaborative Consumption Context<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The role of bricolage for innovating and service innovation<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Improving financial well-being<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Expanding the Lens: Capitalizing on Moments of Truth Before, During, and After the Core Service Experience<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Managing emotions in the health care customer experience<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Service Ecosystems Perspective on Markets and Business \u2013 Building a Research Agenda<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Servicescapes to Service Places? \u2013 Re-envisioning The Role of Place in Consumer Well-Being and Transformative Service Research<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Organizing an event like this is a fantastic energy boost.
