Bernard Jaworksi (Claremont Graduate University) and Neil Morgan (Indiana University) serve as the conference co-chairs.<\/p>\n<p>We highly encourage you to submit proposals. The SERVSIG committee is especially interested in topics related to the conference theme of <strong>\u201cRegaining Relevance: Doing Research that Shapes the Practice of Marketing.\u201d <\/strong>As such, SERVSIG calls for proposals linking services to (one or more of) the six key problems that guide the conference (for those key questions, see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ama.org\/events-training\/Conferences\/Pages\/2016-Summer-Academic-Conference-Call-For-Papers.aspx\">https:\/\/www.ama.org\/events-training\/Conferences\/Pages\/2016-Summer-Academic-Conference-Call-For-Papers.aspx<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Proposals may also be based upon the following services topics:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Consumer Behavior and Misbehavior in Services<br \/>\n&#8211; Business-to-Business Services<br \/>\n&#8211; Service Dominant Logic<br \/>\n&#8211; Customer Experience and Value Co-Creation<br \/>\n&#8211; Building Relationships in Services<br \/>\n&#8211; Service Operations Management<br \/>\n&#8211; E-Services and Social Media<br \/>\n&#8211; Innovation in Services<br \/>\n&#8211; Service Design<br \/>\n&#8211; Building Sustainability in Services<br \/>\n&#8211; International Marketing in Services<br \/>\n&#8211; Developing Service Value<br \/>\n&#8211; Service Markets and Networks<br \/>\n&#8211; Service Supply Chains<br \/>\n&#8211;\u00a0Servicescapes<br \/>\n&#8211; Service Encounters<br \/>\n&#8211; Service Environment<br \/>\n&#8211;\u00a0Research and Teaching Methods in Services<br \/>\n&#8211; Service Recovery and Complaint Management<br \/>\n&#8211;\u00a0Service Productivity<br \/>\n&#8211;\u00a0Branding and Communication in Services<br \/>\n&#8211;\u00a0Tourism Services<br \/>\n&#8211;\u00a0Transformative Services<br \/>\n&#8211;\u00a0Sport Services<br \/>\n&#8211;\u00a0Public and Non-Profit Services.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ms-rteElement-P\">The objective of SIG-related Special Sessions is to acquaint marketing educators and researchers with new perspectives, theories, and provocative ideas that further the mission of the SIGs.\u00a0\u00a0 Proposals for these SIG sessions must emanate directly from the leadership of the individual SIGs (i.e., SIG Chair, Vice-Chair for Programs, etc.).\u00a0\u00a0 As such, proposals should be sent to the SIG leadership and then the SIG leadership should select which proposals they wish to put forward for consideration in the track.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ms-rteElement-P\">Proposals for these sessions should follow the same general requirements as Special Sessions.
