This means, for the nominations for this award in&nbsp;<strong>2026<\/strong>, the eligibility cut off year of degree completion is&nbsp;<strong>2016<\/strong>.&nbsp;<br \/>Other eligibility issues:<br \/>\u2022 The nominees must demonstrate an ongoing commitment to research activity within the service discipline, showcasing a consistent track record of impactful contributions, including publications, presentations, or collaborations that reflect their dedication to advancing knowledge and fostering innovation in the field.<br \/>\u2022 Candidates for a SERVSIG Award do not have to be a member of SERVSIG or the AMA to be eligible for the award.<br \/>\u2022 Candidates may be from anywhere in the world. Since its inception, SERVSIG has sought to be globally oriented and globally active.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Nominations<\/strong><br \/>The nomination for a candidate for the award should include:<br \/>\u2022&nbsp;<strong>One nomination letter,<\/strong>&nbsp;no longer than double-spaced five pages signed by those who support the nomination (self-nominations are&nbsp;not&nbsp;eligible).<br \/>\u2022 A current vita for the nominated scholar or a web link to an online vita.<br \/>\u2022 No more than three publications representative of the nominee\u2019s contributions.<br \/>\u2022 All material needs to be submitted electronically to the selection committee chair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Selection Committee<\/strong><br \/>Each year, SERVSIG appoints a panel of scholars to serve as the selection committee. The panel solicits nominations from the service community, and selects the recipient of the award.
