The conference has been held in many different countries around the world, but we anticipate that the 2027 and 2029 conferences will be held in North America. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Frontiers Conference is the world\u2019s leading annual service research conference, and annually draws 200-400 attendees from 30-40 countries. \u00a0<br \/>The conference draws a lively mix of academics and practitioners, from a variety of backgrounds and functional disciplines. \u00a0 <br \/>The conference also typically has corporate and\/or governmental speakers and sponsors\u2013e.g., many (if not most) featured keynote talks are by practitioners. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To express interest or to get more information about hosting the 2027 or 2029 conference, please contact Roland Rust at\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:rrust@umd.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">rrust@umd.edu<\/a>. \u00a0<br \/>We would like to receive initial expressions of interest by July 15.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The American Marketing Association\u2019s Service Special Interest Group (SERVSIG), the INFORMS Society for Marketing Science, the EMAC Service Special Interest Group, and the University of Maryland\u2019s Center for Excellence in Service welcome proposals to host the 35th and 37th Annual Frontiers in Service Conferences in 2027 and 2029.
