However, adopting sustainability ethos is often considered a “wicked problem” characterized by complex interactions, multiple causes and effects, radical uncertainty over the underlying science, and contestation over facts, values, and norms. It also needs a transdisciplinary approach that highlights the need for multiple stakeholder engagement. Scholarship in marketing surrounding sustainability is emerging but needs more work to understand systematic approaches to mobilize stakeholders for sustainability co-creation that alleviates individual and collective well-being.

If you find yourself drawn to subjects like Transformation Services, Social Inclusion, AI and customer vulnerability, ESG and responsible business management, digital transformation to create sustainable, cost-efficient, and customer-centric services, ethical issues and sustainability, socio-cultural inclusivity, climate change, UN sustainable development goals and beyond, then CCIS-CE 2024 is for you. As a highlight and to ensure your inspiring research finds a home, CCIS-CE will also be running a paper development workshop for a special issue at the Journal of Service Theory and Practice Moving Towards Sustainable Services in the Age of Digital Transformation.

Against the backdrop of picturesque Tasmanian wilderness (Australia’s best-kept secret!), CCIS-CE 2024 offers a transdisciplinary collaboration setting, promising a memorable experience. Our carefully curated sessions, panels, and discussions promise to immerse you in thought-provoking dialogues that bridge humanity, planet earth and technology exploring innovative solutions to sustainability challenges.

This year, we’re privileged to welcome our keynote speaker, Professor Joy Parkinson, a renowned expert in developing sustainable service designs and Behavior change programs for health services. Her depth of knowledge and wealth of experience promise to offer profound insights that will greatly enrich our event. We also have Mr. Adam Mostogl, CEO and Social Entrepreneur of The Van Diemen Project and The Shift Lab, who will share his passion, successes and case-studies about systematic approaches to mobilize stakeholder engagement for co-creation of sustainability in market systems. We will also welcome many esteemed scholars in service research as our participants.

Venue: Iron Creek Bay, Sorell, Tasmania, Australia
Capacity: 20 persons

Registration:
– Early Bird Registration Rate (30th of September 2024): 1,700 AUD
– Full Registration Fee: 1,800 AUD
Includes: two-night accommodation, celebration and gala dinners, breakfasts, lunches, and conference registration fee, including GST.

Express of Interest:
To express your interest in attending, Dr. Gauri Laud and include the following details:
– Title:
– Full name:
– Affiliation:
– Email address:
– Research Interests (please specify):
– Online Research Profile web address e.g., LinkedIn, Google Scholar, ResearchGate, etc.

(We accept EOI on a rolling basis until we reach the maximum capacity).

CCIS-CE 2024 is supported by the Australian Catholic University and University of Tasmania.

Full information available on the https://ccis-ce.com/

Co-creation in Service and Customer Engagement Symposium 2024 28-30th November 2024 Iron Creek Bay, Sorell, Tasmania, Australia EOI Deadline: 30th September 2024 Registration Deadline: 3rd October 2024 Co-chairs– Dr. Gauri Laud, University of Tasmania Australia– Professor Joy Parkinson Australian Catholic University, Australia This year, our central theme, “Sustainability, Stakeholder Engagement & Co-creation Systems,” resonates deeply with […]

[6,10
