Journal of Service Research Pre-Conference Workshops<\/strong>
Frontiers in Service Conference at Maastricht University
15 June 2023 (Thursday)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We would like to invite you to two pre-conference events about the Special Issues at the Journal of Service Research<\/em> on \u201cHuman-Robot Interactions in Service\u201d<\/a> (HRIS) and \u201cSmart Service Failure-Recovery\u201d<\/a> (Smart SFR) These events take the format of workshops in which the potential contributors to the Special Issues will present their original, cutting-edge ideas on the topics. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

9-12am<\/strong> \u201cHuman-Robot Interactions in Service\u201d workshop
1-4pm<\/strong> \u201cSmart Service Failure-Recovery\u201d workshop<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each workshop of three hours will be composed of three stages:
– Short Introduction to the Special Issue (30 minutes):<\/strong>
Co-editors will open the discussion about the challenges of the topic and expectations.
– Panel Discussion (45 minutes):<\/strong>
A panel of researchers in the field, at different stage of their career, will discuss potential research topics.
– Roundtable Research Presentations (75 minutes):<\/strong>
Small group roundtable discussions about the participants\u2019 papers that target the special issue. Each table will be assigned one senior scholar, and co-editors will rotate around different tables to provide comments and different point of views.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This workshop will take place just before the opening ceremony of Frontiers in Service, on Thursday June 15, 2023. You need to register for Frontiers and register for this event to participate<\/strong>. We expect authors to be physically present at Frontiers and will not facilitate online presentations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Authors interested in presenting their work should submit a proposal to the special issue teams. Please find the full Call for Papers below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
