DIGIT LAB Talk with Jim Spohrer: \u201cDigital Transformation Accelerators: A Service Science Perspective\u201d<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This talk explores digital transformation accelerators arising from two shocks \u2013 the pandemic and the future of artificial intelligence (AI).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Presented by Jim Spohrer, ex-IBM Executive, and member of the Board of Directors of the non-profit International Society of Service Innovation Professionals (ISSIP).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2011 during IBM\u2019s Centennial Celebration, Jim Spohrer was recognized as an IBM Innovation Champion for his contributions to service science. Service science is one of the 100 innovations celebrated during IBM\u2019s Centennial as an IBM Icon of Progress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will explore why research in the digital world is fundamentally different and what that means for the future of research. This session will offer insights especially for early career researchers into their future challenges and opportunities and will show ways in which they can join the Digital Transformation community. See speakers on Tommy Flowers Network<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day 2: Delivering Impact in Digital Transformation<\/span>
With incredible activities around digital transformation happening all over the world, we ask the questions: What are the big impact opportunities where we can really make a difference? What are the barriers for big companies to make progress? Where does Digit Lab come in? And again this session will offer opportunities especially for practitioners who deal with large amounts of data to join the Digital Transformation community. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
