The topic of this year\u2019s award was Well-Being.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>We received a large number of exceptional submissions for this award this year. So much so that there was a tie for the first and second prizes. Hence, we are awarding two First Prize and two Second Prize awards, a total of four awards, instead of the three awards as originally planned. The Role of Predictable versus Unpredictable Interventions\u201d<\/em><br \/>\u2014 Co-authors: Hean Tat Keh, Bora Min, Eugene Y. Chan<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Elisabeth Grewenig (ifo Institute at the University of Munich)<\/strong> <br \/><em>\u201cSchool Track Decisions and Teacher Recommendations: Evidence from German State Reforms\u201d&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.servsig.org\/wordpress\/2020\/11\/2021-besh-doctoral-research-award-for-well-being\/\">2021 BESH Doctoral Consortium, scheduled for May 20<\/a>, is postponed to next year in light of the current pandemic.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About BESH.<\/strong>&nbsp;<br \/>KU Research Institute for Business and Economics in Service of Humanity (BESH) was established in 2019. The aim of BESH is to develop, publish and elevate collaborative, interdisciplinary research in Business and Economics that address urgent challenges facing humanity.
