The conference theme is <strong>&#8220;Service in the World of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technologies.&#8221;<\/strong> The conference will be held on July 9-11.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.servsig.org\/wordpress\/?p=12751\">[FRONTIERS 2024 hosted by Florida State University \u2013 info HERE]<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sponsored annually by <em>INFORMS<\/em> and the <em>American Marketing Association<\/em>, the Frontiers in Service Conference is the world\u2019s leading annual conference on service research. It routinely attracts submissions from over 40 countries, covering a wide range of topics such as service marketing, service strategy, service management, service operations, service engineering, service design, service science, service IT, and AI and robotics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Carry-Overs from the 2020 Conference<\/strong>: Any paper that was accepted for the 2020 Conference at Babson College can be presented at the Frontiers in Service Conference in 2021. The organizing teams at Florida State University and Temple University will work with each other and Temple University will be provided with the author\/paper information of these carry-overs. If you do NOT wish to present your work at the virtual Frontiers 2021 Conference, please inform Xueming Luo and his team at your earliest convenience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>New Submissions<\/strong>: Any author\/s who submitted a paper to Frontiers 2021 that was a \u2018new submission\u2019 (i.e., not a carry-over from Babson 2020) has the option to submit the paper again through the Temple University website and the submission will then undergo the regular review process for the 2021 Frontiers Conference. In other words, please understand that you will not be automatically invited to present, but you will need to resubmit your paper through the Temple University website. Consequently, if you do not wish to present at the virtual 2021 conference, you do not need to do anything at this point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Attendees will get to learn from many of the world\u2019s leading service experts, including high-ranking executives and prominent academics.&nbsp; You are invited, as a service academic or practitioner, to&nbsp;submit abstracts&nbsp;for possible presentation at the conference. <strong>Submissions must be received by&nbsp;<\/strong><strong class=\"\">April 17<sup class=\"\">th<\/sup>, 2021<\/strong>, so don\u2019t delay.<br \/>Submit an abstract <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox.temple.edu\/institutes-centers\/global-center-for-big-data-and-mobile-analytics\/conferences\/2021-frontiers-in-service-conference\/#submit-abstract\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The conference committee will select and decide several awards from submissions: the \u201c<em class=\"\">Best Student Paper Award,<\/em>\u201d the \u201c<em class=\"\">Best Academic Paper Award,<\/em>\u201d and the \u201c<em class=\"\">Best Practitioner Paper Award.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Abstracts may focus on any service topic, including (but not limited to) the topics below:<br \/>&#8211; Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Service<br \/>&#8211; Big Data and Service<br \/>&#8211; Machine Learning and Service<br \/>&#8211; Deep Learning Algorithms for Service<br \/>&#8211; Collaborative Service and Sharing Economy<br \/>&#8211; Consumer Privacy<br \/>&#8211; Corporate Digital Responsibility and Service<br \/>&#8211; Customer Experience Management<br \/>&#8211; Customer Relationship Management<br \/>&#8211; Customer Value Creation<br \/>&#8211; Digital Service (Strategy)<br \/>&#8211; Employee Engagement<br \/>&#8211; E-Service &amp; E-Government<br \/>&#8211; Healthcare Service<br \/>&#8211; Internet of Everything and Service<br \/>&#8211; IT as a Service<br \/>&#8211; Platform-based Service Models<br \/>&#8211; Robotics and Service<br \/>&#8211; Service at the \u201cBottom of the Pyramid\u201d<br \/>&#8211; Service Design<br \/>&#8211; Service Dominant Logic (SDL)<br \/>&#8211; Service Engineering<br \/>&#8211; Service Human Resources \/ Factors<br \/>&#8211; Service Information Technology<br \/>&#8211; Service Innovation<br \/>&#8211; Service Management<br \/>&#8211; Service Marketing<br \/>&#8211; Service Operations<br \/>&#8211; Service Productivity<br \/>&#8211; Service Science<br \/>&#8211; Servicescapes<br \/>&#8211; Smart Service Systems<br \/>&#8211; Social Networks and Service<br \/>&#8211; Service Strategy<br \/>&#8211; Technology-based Service (Apps)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year\u2019s conference is sponsored by <em>INFORMS Society for Marketing Science (ISMS)<\/em>, the <em>American Marketing Association\u2019s Service Special Interest Group (SERVSIG),<\/em> the <em>Global Center for Big Data and Mobile Analytics<\/em> at Fox School of Business at Temple University, and the <em>Center for Excellence in Service<\/em> at the University of Maryland.
