{"id":10072,"date":"2020-07-23T01:07:16","date_gmt":"2020-07-23T05:07:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.servsig.org\/wordpress\/?p=10072"},"modified":"2020-07-23T01:07:18","modified_gmt":"2020-07-23T05:07:18","slug":"ming-hui-huang-new-jsr-editor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.servsig.org\/wordpress\/2020\/07\/ming-hui-huang-new-jsr-editor\/","title":{"rendered":"Ming-Hui Huang new JSR editor"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"316\" height=\"211\" src=\"https:\/\/www.servsig.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/ming-hui-jsr.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10074\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.servsig.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/ming-hui-jsr.jpg 316w, https:\/\/www.servsig.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/ming-hui-jsr-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 316px) 100vw, 316px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The JSR is delighted to announce that Professor Ming-Hui Huang has been named Editor-in-Chief Elect of the <em>Journal of Service Research (JSR)<\/em>, for a four-year term to replace Mike Brady, whose term ends in Summer 2021.\u00a0 Since its inception in 1998, <em>JSR<\/em> has consistently been the top-cited and most prestigious service research journal.\u00a0 It is currently the 11<sup>th<\/sup> highest-cited journal in all of business, according to the Web of Science.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Professor Huang is Distinguished Professor in the Department\nof Information Management at National Taiwan University.&nbsp; She is also Distinguished Research Fellow at\nthe Center for Excellence in Research at the University of Maryland, and\nInternational Research Fellow at the University of Oxford\u2019s Centre for\nCorporate Reputation.&nbsp; Professor Huang\ncurrently serves as Chair of the INFORMS Service Science Section, and the Asia\nrepresentative of the Board of AMA SERVSIG.&nbsp;\nShe previously served as Vice-President of the Association for\nInformation Systems, and was recently named a Fellow of the European Marketing\nAcademy.&nbsp; Professor Huang has an\nextensive publication record, in academic journals such as <em>JSR, <\/em>the <em>Journal of Marketing<\/em>,\n<em>Marketing Science<\/em>, <em>IJRM, JAMS, JMIS, <\/em>and the <em>Journal of Consumer Psychology<\/em>; and\nmanagerial publications such as the <em>California\nManagement Review<\/em>, <em>Harvard Business\nReview<\/em>, and <em>MIT Sloan Management\nReview<\/em>.&nbsp; She has previously served as\na special issue editor at <em>JSR<\/em> and\nother journals, and is currently an Associate Editor at <em>JSR<\/em>, <em>IJRM<\/em>, <em>Information &amp; Management<\/em>, and <em>Communications of the Association for\nInformation Systems.<\/em>&nbsp; Her recent work\non artificial intelligence in service won the <em>JSR<\/em> Best Article Award, as well as the Best Service Article Award\nfrom AMA SERVSIG.&nbsp;
