Texas A&M and SERVSIG will co-host the 2018 Winter AMA reception in New Orleans to celebrate the Wilkie Award for Len Berry’s.

The William L. Wilkie “Marketing for a Better World” Award honors thinkers who have significantly contributed to our understanding and appreciation for marketing’s potentials to improve our world, and from whose work notable advances have ensued – in the mold of Bill Wilkie of the University of Notre Dame.

Leonard L. Berry, University Distinguished Professor of Marketing, M.B. Zale Chair in Retailing and Marketing Leadership, Regents Professor, Presidential Professor for Teaching Excellence, Mays Business School, Texas A&M University, will receive the award during the 2018 AMA Winter Academic Conference in New Orleans, LA, February 23-25.

Dr. Berry is a leading scholar in services marketing and retailing studies and, more recently, a leader in the study of healthcare service. He has been published in leading journals and has written ten books including, Management Lessons from Mayo Clinic, Discovering the Soul of Service, and On Great Service. Dr. Berry established the Center for Retailing Studies at Texas A&M University in 1982, serving as director until 2000.
